Hi, I’m Tara Nolan. I hold a Doctorate in Naturopathic Medicine and a Master’s degree in Professional Clinical Counseling, both from Bastyr University in San Diego. My passion for integrating mental and physical health led me to engage in research on Epigenetics, Nutraceuticals, and Proteomics in Veterans with PTSD, collaborating with the Boston Veteran Affairs Administration, Boston University, and Oxford University.
I completed a 1,000-hour practicum in Community Mental Health, where I worked with a diverse population of children, adults, and adolescents facing trauma, displacement, and immigration-related stressors. My current practice takes an integrative approach, commonly utilizing Psychodynamic Theory, Humanistic and Holistic methodologies, Existentialism, and Narrative Therapy to support my clients.
Having returned to my home just north of Boston, I enjoy spending my free time with family, keeping up to date on botanicals and plants, or exploring museums. I look forward to working with you on your journey toward healing and personal growth!
