Hi! I’m Bill Hackett, and I’m passionate about creating a comfortable, welcoming space where people feel safe being themselves. I hold an M.S. in Dual Diagnosis Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Johnson & Wales University and have experience working in the addiction field. As a veteran, I understand the importance of connection, trust, and having someone in your corner when life feels challenging. My approach to therapy is warm, collaborative, and focused on you as a whole person. I draw from Client-Centered Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), mindfulness and grounding techniques, and strengths-based approaches. Together, we can explore what you’re experiencing, build on the strengths you already have, and develop practical tools to help you navigate challenges and move toward the life you want. I’m also currently completing a Holistic Mental Health course at Salve Regina University as I continue expanding my understanding of approaches that support mental, emotional, and overall well-being. Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with friends, practicing yoga, and listening to live music. I believe therapy doesn’t have to feel intimidating, and I look forward to getting to know you and walking alongside you on your journey.
