Personalized Treatment

Treatment begins with a comprehensive assessment to understand your unique health needs and goals. We recognize that one of the most important factors of whether treatment will be effective is the relationship you have with your provider. Because of this, the clinical specialist carefully matches you with the ideal provider or team of providers for you. Your provider then delivers a customized care plan tailored just for you to effectively address your specific concerns and aspirations.

Continuity of Care

In our multi specialty practice, we recognize that continuity of care is crucial for effective treatment. It ensures seamless coordination between your providers, reducing gaps and miscommunication. This cohesive approach supports your long-term health goals and enhances the overall effectiveness of your care.

Why We Started Optimal Health

From a young age, we—Elizabeth Gomes and Dr. James Gomes—recognized the profound connection between mind and body in achieving overall health. Throughout our careers, we noticed that many clients struggled to make the necessary lifestyle changes to improve their well-being, and we realized that we couldn't fully support them on our own.

This insight inspired us to team up in 2019 to create Optimal Health. Our goal was to combine our expertise and address both mental and physical health in an integrated manner. By offering mental health counseling, medication management, chiropractic treatment, and naturopathic medicine, we provide comprehensive care that fosters lasting, positive change.

Our diverse team collaborates to deliver personalized, compassionate care that considers all aspects of well-being, empowering individuals to lead healthier, happier lives.

What To Expect

Step 1: Schedule your visit

Our receptionists are generally available to answer your call Monday-Thursday 8am-7pm and Friday 8am-4pm. When you call the office, the receptionist will get some basic information. You will then be emailed a link to set up your patient portal where you will complete your initial paperwork within 48 hours, allowing our biller time to check your insurance benefits for the treatments you are receiving from our providers.

Step 2: Attend your intake

You will meet with the clinical specialist, either by phone or in person, to review the practice policies, ask questions you may have, and to complete the comprehensive initial assessment. You will answer detailed questions and discuss the goals you have for yourself or your child. This assessment will help us to collaboratively identify a provider or team of providers for your needs.

Step 3: Be active in treatment

You will work collaboratively with your providers to help you achieve your health goals. Your treatment will be personalized, focusing on your lifestyle and all aspects of your health, to address your unique needs. You will be an active participant in your treatment and will discuss things you can do day to day to help you work toward your treatment goals and will be given tasks to complete outside of your appointments so you can meet these goals as quickly as possible.
