Hi, I’m William Sylvia, a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW). I grew up in Fall River, attending Notre Dame School and Bishop Connolly High School. Since graduating from the Rhode Island College School of Social Work in 2017, I’ve been practicing as a therapist and a school adjustment counselor.
My therapeutic approach is strength-based, incorporating Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Positive Psychology to help you recognize and build on your strengths. I believe in empowering you to navigate your challenges and achieve your goals.
I love the fall season, especially for football, chili, and pumpkin spice! I now live in New Bedford with my wonderful wife, Michelle. I’m excited to support you on your journey toward growth and well-being!
