Hi! I’m Zach Lindemann, a clinical therapist with an M.S. in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Rhode Island College. My experience teaching high school science for 13 years in diverse schools across the country has fostered a passion for connecting with people from all backgrounds and identities to better help them understand their mental health. I greatly value taking time to learn about the unique person that is each client to build the trust and rapport that is crucial to effective, collaborative treatment.
With an Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) approach, I work with clients to answer important questions like “what brings you meaning and purpose?” and “how do you want to show up in the world?”. We use a variety of techniques and modalities to explore and analyze what is getting in the way of being who you want to be, work towards accepting what is out of our control, and take holistic, committed, and effective action steps to build your life worth living.
Outside of work, I’m an avid runner and hiker, enjoy reading, gaming, and movies, and am a dad to two young daughters who keep me busy! I look forward to supporting you on your journey towards mental well-being.
